Ms. Caroline's Guest House

You are here Home  > Historical Buildings >  Ms. Caroline's Guest House

Although reports say the Guest House is no longer operating, ghost hunters have detected various electronic voice phenomena saying strange phrases like “Must need burping, trash, garbage” and “Garage, moving — Who are you?” The EVP also have picked up a girl’s voice saying “love you,” humming and giggling. Other than this, apparitions have been seen, lights and faucets turn on and off by themselves, and people have reported being nudged by an unseen hand.

Ms Caroline Guest House- my husband and I stayed in 2009. I sat in the generals chair and he did not push me out. We stayed on a Saturday night and the owner gave us the keys. We didn’t know no one else was staying there. We heard drawers and cabinets and banging downstairs so thought the owner was making breakfast. When we went downstairs we were the only people in the house. We also kept hearing jingling… like a bell or keys. Over the back door that goes down the ramp, was a set of bells that would jingle when the door opened. However no one was there and all the doors were locked. It was creepy but a very cool stay.
