  1. A few years back I went to the mount hope cemetery with my mom sister and cuzin and two boys holden and jordan to see my grandma’s grave and thats not all me and holden seen me and him seen people or what we thought were people that no one else seen walking around and talking to us and holden ran to a tree climbed up it and then he started to cry screaming that they were coming for him and I looked up and they really were we had to get in the car and drive away still to this day I see them

  2. I was trying to look into a private mausoleum that had broken glass to look at damage, the neck area of my shirt was yanked on as though I was trying to be pulled closer…..

  3. Lived here in town for a decade. All the locals swear you can hear horses and cannon fire at the Civil War monument where dozens soldiers are buried. Have been there twice recently after dark with my gf and haven’t heard anything. However, we left a mic recording for a couple minutes and at the end of two minutes of wind and crickets there is a low growl and something like gurgling.

We’ve looked at most of the mausoleums and haven’t seen any spooky inscriptions but there are a couple that are sealed with concrete or steel plates.

My house is on Henry Street. Which has only a small alley and a concrete wall separating my house and the old part of the graveyard. I usually love being in old cemeteries that’s why I bought my old creepy house. But the energy in Mount Hope is Different….. Buuuuttt….. I don’t get a bad or haunted kind of energy until I am in my alley behind my house. My house is a totally different story all together. I have lots of things popping off in my home and the back yard. You dont have to be sensitive or believe in ghosts to experience what happens here. My house was actually built on top of an old Catholic Cemetery, I just found this out a few months ago. If anyone is ever curious about some real afterlife stuff, contact me. My name is Dee and my email is; wdelisa9@gmail.com
