  1. My husband was working on this house with one of the former owners and had several experiences. Tools would be moved from one room to another. The radio would change stations or have strange voices com out of it. Occasionally this happened when the radio was unplugged. He and his best friend both interacted with a full bodied apparition of an old man that was aware of a conversation my husband had with the owner about fixing the roof. My husband said he could see his friend through the old man and that he disappeared while they were speaking to him. My husband didn’t believe in ghosts until he worked on this house.

    • I know several people in the past that had experienced strange things going on in that house it’s creepy. I have been in there after they made it in to a nice place and it isn’t still creepy.

  2. I am the granddaughter of a previous owner of this house. My grandmother lived here from 1989 until about 2001. I used to live in this house during the summers off from school. I can honestly say that nothing strange ever happened here. Not to say it wasn’t creepy – we (cousins) used to dare each other to climb the servant steps alone in the dark – or spend the night in the top tower room. I never experienced anything ghostly though. Sorry to disappoint.

    • My husband and I with our 2 young children had visited his mother and step father many weekends and summer breaks. Nothing scary ever happened in the house. However one summer a family of skunks moved into the back bathroom and stunk up the whole house for months. I remember suggestings of tomato juice to get rid of the smell and my husband was covered in juice.

However one summer a family of skunks moved into the back bathroom and stunk up the whole house for months. I remember suggestings of tomato juice to get rid of the smell and my husband was covered in juice. We had loads of family fun, parties, and gatherings. I had my 1st baby shower here.

  3. This house was Built by Moses Parrot in 1891, his daughter Rosa lived there until the 1950’s. The legends of it being a brothel and the entire family was murdered by one of the children are false! It remained a residence until recent years. It has now been mostly restored and turned into an amazing restaurant. No, it is not haunted… lol
some historical data on the home can be found here. http://www.co.douglas.or.us/planning/hrrc/regions/pdfs/mosesparrotthouse.pdf

  5. It’s not this location yet in 1972 I went to cottage grove Oregon with a friend of mine and we spent the night at His Aunt house she lived just a block or so from the river we came from Eugene and we were going to go fishing the next morning. OK! we slept up stairs it was a open room the whole up stairs there was only 2 beds in the room I got in one bed and Ron gone in the other bed across the room it was a big room. I was just about to go to sleep and my bed started to shake I got up and though Ron was trying to play a joke on me I turn the light on I though he tight a rope around the bed and started to pull it when the lights when out I walked around the bed to see anything there was nothing. I then told Ron lets change beds he said noway I said the bed shaking he said I thought you was jeering off I said I am not. I was 15 years old at the time. I said will if you not changing bed then I’m going back to Eugene. he said it’s 10:30 at night how are you going to get back I’ll hick hike he said there nobody going to give you a ride. just go back to bed. Had no chose the bed shook all night the next morning the bed was 8 feet from the wall I had to lay in that bed all night with that shaking. I’m 64 years old now and I’m still angry about that. The house is haunted and the spirit had to pick on me. I’m still pisst about that and I’m telling my father Jesus Christ I did not do nothing wrong. they always pick on me. my name is Brian. I went through death valley once at 3;00 in the morning when I was driving real bad things started to happen to me I was all by my self. I’m not going into that. It’s a long story.

  6. I’m going to tell ya’ll Jesus Christ and me were going to get those evil spirit and put them ALL into HELL! There all going to jail.
