Mason Long was born in 1842 and was orphaned by age 10. He got a job and later fought in the Civil War. After that he became a businessman and ended up a successful stockbroker. He died here of a stroke in 1902. The private home is said to be haunted by Mason Long himself. Witnesses have reported strange lots, misty figures, and phantom perfume.
