Manatee Avenue

A single claim here dates back to 1992, from a law enforcement officer who was patrolling the 1700-1800 block of Manatee Avenue in Bradenton. He claimed to see a Victorian-era man in all black clothing, with a very pale, white face for about 2-3 seconds, who then disappeared and was nowhere to be found.

  1. The area in question also had/has quite a few Goths, who frequent the nearby tattoo parlor, The Moondance Gothic nightclub a few hundred feet away, and other places. There was also a grade Z horror movie filmed in the area a few years later called “Vampire Biker Babes”. Mystery solved.

  2. That movie was released in 2007. This report was in 1992 on the east side of Bradenton with is predominately black and a violent area at this time. Mystery not solved.
