  1. As a child back in the middle 1950s I lived on E. Hazelhurst in Ferndale. At this time the Cemetery was partially dug up and graves were moved to widen Woodward Ave. I remember the workers putting up very high wooden fences so the construction could not be seen going on. The smell in the area was bad and I remember them having large fires behind the wooden fence at night. I have no idea if this has anything to do with the haunting or not but I am 71 years old and will never forget the smell.

  2. I currently live behind this Cemetary (on saint Louis street, just across from the park) and the only sounds I’ve heard late at night were fireworks. Would’ve been cool if it was haunted but unfortunately it is just a normal boring area with no creepy sounds to speak of.

  3. I used to live at those weird apartments at the corner of West Webster street and Woodward. I was out walking at one night around 12:30am and I heard screaming coming from the park/cemetery area. On my trek back home I took a different route.
