At Kiowa Cemetery, folks have reported the apparition of a Native American sitting on a horse just inside the gate. Other apparitions have been reported as well, both at night and in the daytime.

  1. Happened around 2003, on the same road About 3 miles west of this location.
    My father and I and two of my brothers, were leaving a livestock sale in cheyenne around 11pm i believe. while travelling east bound on this road we witnessed a woman in a white dress pale and looked like as if she had been swimming, jump out in the middle of our truck. She was screaming and we passed around. Looking for a wreck, my dad turned back and once again she appeared. We left and called the sheriff they found no sign of a wreck or woman.
