The 1907 twin storey home is still believed to be haunted by the ghost of Louise Cromartie and her children. Her translucent apparition has been seen, looking out her second floor bedroom window. Some people are treated to the full paranormal package. She is described as wearing her blonde hair in a bun with ringlets on the side of her face, wearing a pink dress. The sounds of children running, playing, laughing and singing around and in back of the house are heard by the living. (Submitted by Callum Swift)

    s.w.4th st in dania has several haunted houses, numerous people have experienced evil forces in several houses, one actually made it's presence known during a seance, and made the residence move out, they was so harrassed by this spirit, and will not even talk about it to this day, i was present and actually held the seance. cannot give you the exact adress as it wouldn't be right for the owners of the property. as it is a rental. scary stuff went on. and made a believer out of all of us present.

    The King-Cromartie house is (or was---it's been over a decade since I was last there) on the 'tame' side. At times you can smell a meal being cooked (sometimes breakfast, other times supper) in the kitchen. The occasional cold spot is not uncommon.
