Jacksonville Beach Lifeguard Station

You are here Home  > Miscellaneous >  Jacksonville Beach Lifeguard Station

This building dates back to the war, although the principle of lifesaving in the locality dates back to the turn of the twentieth century. The lifeguard station was used to treat patients of ocean-related accidents, and is rumoured to be haunted by a ghostly drowning victim and a lifesaver known as ‘Todd’.

  1. My husband was a lifeguard there for many years and would sleep at the life guard station with the other lifeguards during the summer. He always told me it was haunted. He didn’t mention anything about Todd, but said it was haunted by the countless girls who were raped there throughout the years.
