Dating back to the 1930’s, the historic gem of an elegant hotel has been painstakingly restored to its former glory. The renovations stirred up some long forgotten ghost stories, and since the hotel reopened in 2012, reports of apparitions in period clothing, cold spots and a spook who plays with cutlery and glassware have resurfaced. Legend has it that during the Great Depression, the hotel was the scene of many suicide attempts. Perhaps the spirits of those who met their end here have come back to haunt the place?
