Historic Occidental Hotel

You are here Home  > Hotels and Inns >  Historic Occidental Hotel

The historic hotel was founded in the late 1880’s, and was developed a reputation as a saloon and hotel frequented by outlaws and gold miners. The hotel was also a former bordello, and the daughter of a prostitute who passed away on the upper floor of the hotel has been seen on many occasions. Guests report her as having long dark hair and wearing a white dress. She has been known top tap people on the shoulders and moves furniture and luggage around. Passer-by-s have seen strange lights moving around the upper floor of the building in unoccupied rooms, and strange voices and ghostly laughter have been heard.
