    This place is definitely spooky! If you have the opportunity to check it out, I would. It's over 100 years old, and has tons of history to it. It's a renovated schoolhouse and the main theatre building is the one that's in operation currently. To the left is another building, run down, desecrated, and basically abandoned. I have no personal experiences with that building but it sure gives me the chills.
    As for the theatre, it is home to tons of dance classes, acting classes, and theatre productions. But behind the homely allure lies some dark things. My personal experiences include Jonathan the ghost and some strange things in the upstairs men's restroom. The toilets were found frozen, despite being in the heat of a florida summer. Was it the work of Jonathan? You decide. As for the main stage, it's definitely creepy. A spiritual friend confirmed the presence of one or two ghosts. Faces have been seen in the rafters above the stage, and the ambiance is definitely not a warm, comforting one. Being a low- lit backstage many things could happen there...
    The basement is an entirely different story, as creepy as it could possibly get, the cold, dark space is home to some spectral beings. An eyewitness account from a trustworthy friend reports a figure, clad in all black, was seen walking into a stall of the women's bathroom. The figure was never seen to leave and no such costume was used in the play going on. The basement is arguably the creepiest place in the building, it's even used for haunted houses near halloween time!
    If you have the opportunity to visit this place, I totally recommend it!

    I went to elementary school there up till the last year it was a school. The basement was the locker room and showers when it was Melbourne high school (where my dad and grandfather also attended.)I never saw anything strange in the 5 years I attended elementary school there..Just another old rundown building in Melbourne.

      Off subject but is this the son of Harry Goode that owned the fishing tackle shop? My father was a customer in the 1960's just annually winning some prize for one of the biggest fishes (different species over the years) in Harry Goode's contest.

    I have performed in lots of shows, camps, etc.., here and I love the place! Although there have been quite a few unusual encounters in the dressing rooms, that I've experienced of course. Sounds like Johnathon just visiting to me. If so, he's totally harmless!
