An owner who purchased the place in 2000 witnessed apparitions, orbs, voices, a disappearing staircase, strange noises, electrical anomalies, and more. 1. Sadly, the historical facts are not accurate regarding Warren Brown. He was a State Senator but never ran for NH Governor, though he worked with the governor’s council. The individual who ran for governor, and lost, was Warren G. Brown of Whitefield, NH. Unfortunately, the current owner of the mansion, refuses to acknowledge this fact despite anyone googling for themselves to see that one person is Warren Brown, the other is Warren G. Brown……As a relative of this family we have plenty of documentation that supports this.
