The 1816 hotel and restaurant is haunted. Staff and diners have experienced an eerie presence on the third floor, and the mezzanine is haunted by a poltergeist that causes the chandeliers to swing to and fro.

Dined here last night 5-11-19 for my daughters 40th birthday. Her best friend Amy accidentally went upstairs to use the restroom, as that is where the women’s restroom use to be. She got up the steps and turned to the right at the railing and saw a women with a print dress from the 1800s style and a bonnet. She was just standing there looking at her. Amy, of course, freaked out and ran back down the steps. Her eyes were as big as saucers. It was obvious she saw something. We learned from the owners that it was the ghost of the restaurant, Margaret. We hand a Wonderful evening.
