  1. Loads more. First, I got more interviewing the owner, Dot, for my book, Virginia’s Haunted Historic Triangle: Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, and Other Haunted Locations. It is under the Charles City section. Second, I was there with other paranormal investigators on New Year’s Eve 2011. I even got a ghost dog in a photo (since then, I’ve been told by the paranormal tour guide for the B&B, they gotten a small dog’s barking on EVPs. You can see what I got and heard others did that night at my blog: http://pamelakkinney.blogspot.com/2012/01/happy-new-year-i-was-paranormal.html I have updates to investigation done at Edgewood December 19, 2014. Besides Lizzie and the dog, is a little girl ghost, a grouchy man spirit who may be the male suicide who hung himself off stairs a year after his wife killed herself in the mill. Over my ghost box that night, I was told ten spirits were in the house. http://pamelakkinney.blogspot.com/2014/12/the-paranormal-investigation-at.html

  2. my husband and I had the privilege of spending the night at this glorious plantation. if you are a history buff as we are this is the place to visit. dot and julian are so gracious and we thank them for allowing us the pleasure of sharing their home the plantation is beautiful from the outside but once you walk in the front door you feel the peace and love i was speechless just trying to absorb all i was seeing. each room is decorated to the civil war era filled with the past and so beautiful i felt as if i had gone back in time if only walls could talk.the energy ,love and hard work dot and jilian have put into their home is overwhelming.we stayed in lizzies room witnessed her name name engraved in the window the room is very romantic and though i was not blessed with a visit from lizzie you can feel her spirit and know she is happy.we had a wonderful time great conversation at the kitchen table with dot and her beautiful smile learning all the history of the plantation and we shared alot of laughter together. we came as strangers and left knowing we had a new friendships thank you again dot and jilian we will see you again in the spring bless you both and again thank you

  3. My girlfriend and I stayed overnight for Valentines Day a few years back. We booked Lizzie’s room for the stay. I did a solo investigation on the third floor and caught an E.V.P. I asked if there was anyone in the room with me and got a class a E.V.P. Replying “Bill”.

Secondly, we bedded down for the night in our room. She closed the door and made sure that it was latched. During the night I felt something come and sit on my side of the bed. I looked but did not see anything and the door was pushed ajar. The next morning i told her what had happened and she told me that she was 100% sure the door was latched. we tested the door to make sure that it would stay closed. It did.
