Spirits are said to tamper with the radio and lights, and unexplained footsteps and thumps have been heard from vacant rooms and in the hallways. Doors also have been known to open and close on their own.

  1. I worked at this facility in the seventies. It was then the Holiday Inn. There was a story about three or four real rotors that had died in a fire at that hotel. Would like to do some research and see about the fire at this hotel perhaps they are the ghosts that are being seen.

  2. I have been told several different stories about drownings in the pool there. One in particular is when a young man was being sucked or held down to the bottom surface of the pool due to some sort of pump or drain or possibly a cleaning device, im not sure.

  3. My family and I were just recently at this hotel and my mom told me that when she walked to the first floor at 3am, she heard children running on the floor above, and then suddenly stop. She also explained how she felt a presents standing right behind her as is someone was there, but there was no one

  4. stayed there Jun 26 2015 got up at 330 in the morning to go get some water and had to get change downstairs at the front desk while I was walking there it sounded like a about for kids were running about in the second floor above me and then felt as if somebody was behind me turned around and no one was there and then I heard a kid say mama kind of freaked
    me out

    As of May 2018 the hotel is listed on Google Maps as closed. Definitely a must see for me next time I roll through town.

My self and husband stayed here in 2008 .Something kept pulling comforter off,turning on air conditioner after we shut off several times.The phone rang at 3 am I answered somebody was trying to reach state police,I told them it was a hotel room.The voice was a woman and she didn’t sound as though it was urgent she sounded creepy.Door knob to room was turning looked out peep hole no one was out in hall.Felt like someone was there all the time.We got little sleep and was glad to leave.
