A doomed romance between a thief and an executioner’s daughter ended with both of them hanging (the daughter committing suicide over the loss of her lover). The pair are rumored to be here, as well as soldiers that have mysteriously disappeared. When it was still in use, nightwatchmen would call out to each other “alert” to signal that they were still there. Sometimes, there would be no response and the soldiers would never be seen again (at least, not living).

  1. We were alone in one of the dungeon areas with no one in the hall. Snapped a picture And looked at it later in the day and you can clearly see a women at the entryway heading away.
