Bloomsburg University is believed to be haunted, at least in a few of its buildings. For example, the Harvey A. Andruss Library is reported to have a ghostly man who appears on the fourth floor, asking library visitors to change his diaper. And in the Haas Center, campus legend says a past séance led to a haunting by a deceased dancer called Ned, who sometimes can be heard crying during productions. At the Phi Sigma Sigma House, formerly the Delta Phi Epsilon House, students say a ghost tinkers with the lights, hides objects, shakes beds, laughs out loud and even chokes sleeping residents.

  1. Bloomsburg University isn’t haunted. It’s just full of drunk kids spending mommy and daddy’s money to get no education, which is far worse than ghosts.

  2. Kelsey Lynn Bennett  |

The Bloomsburg Care and Rehab Center is haunted with resident commonly saying they see little children roaming the halls. During some nights after everyone is in bed and the wheelchairs are in the halls the pressure sensors will go off randomly for no reason. It has also been reported that all pressure sensors on one floor went off all at one time and not one resident was out of bed.
