Beech Creek Furst Corner

You are here Home  > Restaurants and Bars >  Beech Creek Furst Corner

It’s not only your eyes and ears that may detect haunted happenings here, but your nose may get in on the action too. Folks say at this restaurant you can smell ghostly cigar smoke from its old days. So the story goes, former owner Mr. Furst died in a fire in his barn while he was trying to save his livestock. And, as he liked a good cigar, after closing hours you can still smell his cigars and hear him walking up and down the halls. He has also been known to unlock the building’s doors.

  1. i used to wash dishes for the Furst Corner when i was around 15 or 16. After i would place chairs up on tables i could leave the room very quick and return to find random chairs taken down and put exactly back in the spot they were before i sat them on the table, i would notice picture would be flipped upside down and if you are upstairs where they rent out the rooms then there is a great chance you will see unexplained shadows and foot steps coming towards you and then it would seem that by the time they were right up to you they would stop and there would be nobody there in the halls. a few friends of mine worked here as well because Beech Creek is a very small town so many kids in that town have witnessed such events before as well

  2. the picture you are showing is not the Furst Corner. it is the Beech Creek Hotel. I have lived here all my life. the Furst Corner is on the otherside of the BC Hotel.
