Beall-Dawson House

This restored 1815 home and museum site is haunted by an apparition. Speculators say it may be original builder Upton Beall, his wife Jane, or one of their daughters: Jane, Mathilda or Margaret. Some suppose it also could be a household slaves. Ghost tours are offered around Halloween.

  1. I was there winter 2010 for my boyfriends chamber choir concert and I went upstairs, ironically I was alone and I felt a rough tug on my hair.
    Another time I went when I was really little like 3 or 4 and my mom said that I refused to go upstairs, she said that I was truly terrified of that place.
