  1. I’ve been here on the front porch…pictures do not do the place justice as it is so absolutely beautiful….it just draws you to the front door. I did not see any ghosts or experience anything like that but it definitely has something “different” about it. A feeling that just draws you to come to the door.

  2. As a Savannian who knows the area and is versed on the true haunts, I can assure you that this story was created by the tour companies and is unfounded. The stories and history are false as well as the heresay of the former residents of the home. It is unrenovated simply because the owners are unable due to personal things. There is no little girl ghost at this house , although the place is breathtaking and one of my favorite in town. We often sit with the kids in the square and marvel at it. It is a largely misunderstood building with a falsely checkered past. In reality , the family who built it were happy and successful, and they lived to a ripe old age. I myself would love to acquire it and restore it. Despite it’s size , it has some what of a homey, cozyiness to it that has drwan me in completely. I tend to be sensitive and can say the spirits that love the place wish for the record to be set straight. It is a wonderful home that deserves love and laughter once again.

  3. The home has some very low level activity. But the stories are pretty much all unfounded urban legends. From my understanding, none of the original family’s children died here. Only the wife MIGHT have died here of illness which was common to Savannah at the time. Many of the tours just tell urban legends about it to draw tourists.
