York House Inn

You are here Home  > Hotels and Inns >  York House Inn

York House Inn is Georgia’s oldest continuously operating Inn, since 1896. All manner of living, births and deaths have taken place in the ensuing 120 years. It has been rumored by various employees that a Civil War soldier smokes cigars in one room and several children play in the Inn. Haunt hunters have visited with us at the Inn and found a girl named Sarah and a variety of others that are apparently very pleased with us as owners of the Inn. Several devices have been used to confirm our “energy”. We have had several pictures of what appear to be an old crouching woman and then a face of a girl “Sarah” looking in a window.
