Those who visit Windsor Park Hotel may want to pay close attention while on the elevator. The buttons are said to often be pressed by an unseen hand, usually causing the elevator to go to the fifth floor. Footsteps, electrical anomalies and unusually cold air also have been reported, as if the heat has been turned down.

  1. I used to work there many years ago when it was still a hotel. I just found this website because I was researching the hotel’s history for a friend of mine. I don’t know if this website is still active. Let me know. I can tell you that what is written on this page is absolutely true. I’m not into paranormal stuff. I was looking for some facts about the hotel that I might not be aware of. But I have seen and experienced things first hand there. The elevator always had a mind of its own. One night it scared the hell out of me. I have never been so scared in my entire life. And there were other things.

I was a Security Guard and posted at Windsor Park which was then(2015) Algoma University Residence. And as I did patrols on the 5th floor of the older part of the hotel, I felt an eerie presence watching me. And on CCTV cameras i even caught a flash of a fast moving incandenscent person on reviewing cameras. I also would notice the cameras picking up the lights turning on and off in one of the main floor corridors.

I know some one is looking out the window but looking up …It’s a weird un easy creepy feeling … Not bad one just dosen’t like me … I’d loved to just stand out side by window ..
