Verizon Building

You are here Home  > Miscellaneous >  Verizon Building

The building is now the headquarters of the company Hawaii Telecom, but workers in the building have reported paranormal activity on the upper floors of the building. The elevators go between floors of their own accord, and people have reported hearing and seeing a white apparition on the tenth floor.

  1. I worked in the building years ago but I remember working until my shift was done at 10pm. I saw the guard doing his rounds on my floor when I went to the elevator and we both hopped on to go to the lobby. I was on the 10th floor. I hit the L button for lobby and it went down but stopped on the 3rd floor. No one came on and I figured another elevator came and took the passenger down. I hit the L button again and this time it took us to the 7th floor. Odd I thought, so I hit the L and it took us to the fifth floor and I tried again with the button and it took us to the 11th floor then to the 2nd floor then up to the 17th floor (which is suppose to be inaccessible cause the elevator should’ve only gone up to the 11th floor and upper floors locked for us to enter). The door slammed open and all we saw was pitch black in front of us for over 1 minute). I wasn’t freaked out as my patience was wearing thin. I worked 10 hours and just wanted to go home. I guess it sensed my feelings and I hit the L button again and after a minute it took us straight down to the basement. It slammed the door open again and I hit the L button but it wouldn’t budge. I and the security guard got out and hopped on to another elevator which took us to the lobby. I was not happy with the little escapade but happy to be going home. That was the only time that happened when I was working there.
