Tribble Farm

You are here Home  > Historical Buildings >  Tribble Farm

This old farm house is currently the home of both female and male spirits including a child who likes to peek around corners at you. There have been photos of a lady dressed in turn of the century (1800’s) clothing as well as a man dressed in military clothing. Light orbs can be seen on a regular basis. There was an Army soldier who was stationed at nearby Fort Pickett that shot, killed and buried on the property back in the 1940’s. It wasn’t until twenty plus years later that the two sons of the man who killed him alerted the local sheriff’s dept. and his body was exhumed. During this time the US Army had him listed a AWOL. His body was returned to his family. Light orbs can also been seen outside of the home on the property including the barn. Noises in the home as well as objects being moved are a regular occurrence. The energy is never negative and this home has made believers out of non-believers.

  1. I lived on that farm for years! I never saw any ghosts, spirits, or ever heard any odd sounds. The only sounds I heard at night was the leaves rustling in the wind. I watched deer and turkeys in the field down behind the barn at the edge of the trees. I’m happy for you that you’ve made money on the old place. I just wish we hadn’t sold it. Its the only place I’ve ever called home since I was a child on my granddaddys farm where I was raised. Good luck to you and your family.
