A ghost named Sam lingers in one of the cabins here. Sam was a guest here when he died of a heart attack, and many claim he never left the buidling. Witnesses, both guests and employees, have reported cold spots and window shades opening on their own, and some have even seen the ghost of Sam himself.

  1. During the night a beeping sound woke me up. When the microwave light up and turned on I realized that was the beeping that woke me up. I got out of bed to turn it off.

  2. We have stayed at Winds Resort but never saw anything, but didn’t know about Sam or would have been looking! There are no cabins. Maybe there were years ago, before they built all of the newer buildings. It’s a nice place with 2 swimming pools, hot tubs, and a long oceanfront hotel as well as several other buildings. You can walk outside and right onto the beach. They rent year round.
