This historic home dates back to 1830 and now houses the James Madison Institute. The paranormal activity here centers around the first floor, where the figure of a woman is sometimes seen walking into the fireplace.

I’ll have to say this is NOT haunted. Of course, there are always stories that accompany old buildings, but having worked here, I never had anything strange happen, nor did any of my co-workers. A really impressive, beautiful building with a neat history, though.
