This 1911 historic hotel is reputed to be haunted, and features two guest rooms with their own resident ghost. The brick building is also believed to be haunted by a hovering cloud, which has been observed making its way between rooms before disappearing into the inoperable elevator shaft.

  1. I stayed here last month, and i can say it definitely has paranormal stuff going here. When i booked i called in hoping that i could reserve their most haunted room. The lady on the phone answered and she was very knowledgeable about ufo, paranormal, shadow people, big-foots, portals, ghosts, skin-walkers etc…. I am glad i called because i am also interested in a broad spectrum of skin-walkers and paranormal events. She told me about the ufo misty lights that go on in the hill and told me about a few locations in the general location to go hunting. Anyways long story short i booked a few extra days so i would have plenty of time. At the hotel they let me go in a few of the unrented room on of the night so i could set up some equipment and cameras to record. Lets just say when i got home and had time to go threw my footage i got some really crazy anomalies and hits also while i was their. I wish i would of had my go pro camera on when i was walking up the stairs because i am sure i saw a face in the opposite side of the decks door in the back hall way on my way up. my goal is to set up a youtube channel and show off my findings. From all of my little trips this location and the trips areas gave me the most activity yet!! I am planning a another tip for 3 days next month to the steam train its worth it. (Oh plus i should mention their is dispensary next door and they have 420 room if u ask- its not my cup of tea, but if it was it would be an extra perk of this location. My husband indulged though and really had a blast)

  2. My husband and my self took a trip to Antonito Colorado which is in the the San Luis Valley. My husband is a huge train enthusiast we rode on the narrow gauge rail road in town, the “Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad”. Which was voted by US today “the best railroad in America”. I would have to say it was breath taking!! But the real gem was the 1911 hotel!! I found their accommodations wonderful! The staff their went above and beyond, the rooms where really nice comfortable plus their decorations where really eclectic. I was pleasantly surprised to find they had ghost hunting gear for rent. During my trip I got some crazy videos of orbs and i possibly caught a ghostly shadow. I would have to say that energy isn’t angry or creepy scary but you could feel a presence their…but like I said it’s not a dark energy .
