In Bussey Hall, the ghost of a female student who hanged herself in one of the rooms in the 1950s is said to appear. And in the Horton Theater, the ghost of a student actress who was killed by a train on her way to her starring performance has been seen walking along the catwalk during some performances.

I’m a Musical Theatre Major and Beatrice(the Harton Ghost) does more than just walk across the cat walk. She makes noises when she’s upset or if you disturb her.

  2. My sister lived here. She said someone was killed in the elevator shaft. She heard someone moving through the space in between her ceiling and the floor above her. Her friends saw shadows.

  3. As far as Harton goes, the catwalk is not tall enough to stand on, so no way anything could walk on it.. But I will say I’ve experienced several weird incidents in Harton. Also, the Harton stage use to be flipped, the current back of the stage use to be the front and the audience seating are classrooms.. most of my experiences have either been on stage or in that class area

  4. i went there for a volleyball camp year ago and we played hide and seek. we would here bangs and knocks so went went and looked into the rooms and no one would be in the room

  5. The catwalk in Harton is plenty tall enough to walk on. I was a theatre major in the early 90’s. I never saw the ghost on the catwalk but did see it several times walking through the light booth while working on stage.
