My husband and I stayed there many years ago and we heard thundering footsteps running down the hall outside our room but when we opened the door there was no one there! It was an eerie night, one that we will always remember. I wish the hotel was still there. I would love to re-visit.

    2. It’s a bummer to me it burned down. I never got the chance to visit and I really wanted to. When I would drive by that place I would just get goosebumps because it creeped me out. Its very rare that I see a place and feel instantly it was haunted but this place really made me feel it was. No idea why. A friend of a friend worked there and said something about they thought a mirror from 1800’s was a portal. Another rumor I heard is it always had mysterious fires. Probably just old electrical but wasn’t really a shock when I found out it burned to the ground.
