Schooner Restaurant on Second has a ghost called Morris, who was a resident here in the 1970s. Morris always made the restaurant’s chowder. The ghost is said to play pranks and keep watch over his old place.

I would like your permission to access your property at 331 Campbell Street. We have a group of 3 that will be in Tofino in the next couple of weeks
Such a cool experience. We went for dinner the 4 of us the day after valentines day on valentines day we could not get in . as we came frome Gabriola and our friends from Nanaimo snd came with us we were staying at the Best Western .and noticed when we talked about the motel the lights would start flickering through our dinner then the candle blew out then I even said everytime we talked about the Best Western the lights would flicker when we got the Bill I said to the waitress if they had a ghost and she said yes. I have a home based crystal buisness and I am a bit obsessed with the ghosts and paranormal so when she said yes I was extremely excited and she told us the story about Morris. Our friends were also excited cause this happened all through dinner. I wish I had recorded this had I known they had a ghost by the end of our dinner the light was going crazy flickering and the wsitress even asked if it wss doing that allot. And stopped when she told us his name she said she was going to see if it would stop when we left then when we left here light outside was flickering like crazy all 4 of us wete pretty excited by this. It totally made my day.
