Pleasant Valley Cemetery is haunted by the Rose Family buried here. Legend has it that Ceely Rose murdered her mother, father and brother in 1896 over her love for Guy Berry. Guy lied and told Ceely they couldn’t marry because her family didn’t approve of him rather than tell her the truth: that he just wasn’t interested. So Ceely soaked some arsenic flypaper and sprinkled the water on her family’s food until they died. Guy flew the coop, afraid of what she may do to him if she found out the truth, and Ceely was placed in a mental ward.

  1. We seen a light on a headstone that was changing from blue to green to redOur whole group noticed it when we got there we started looking at grave stones and as I was filming I even filmed it. And then there was a noise in the woods and the light was gone after photographing some more the light was not there in any of our footage. We went around to each headstone looking for what we thought was a solar light on a headstone and there was nothing there very creepyI will upload the video where we did capture at first it was blue and then it was green towards the end of the video on one of the headstones.
