We visited in the summer of 2005, not knowing of any haunting legends associated with the home. We saw a woman pacing upstairs. As we left, the door on the veranda opened on its own. I sensed this may have been O’Neill’s mother, but instead of fear, I expressed thanks to her for letting us visit her home.
