Will Darrell once occupied this home until death from a horseback accident. His ghost, as well as a woman in blue have been reported. Perhaps one of the more stranger sightings is that of a midwife carrying a baby; they are thought to have died in a fire started by Darrell.

  1. I went on a school trip about 1984/85, we were told that the woman in blue was the mother of the baby and the husband threw the baby into the fire in a fit of jealousy and the ghost of the woman is searching for her baby and the sound of crying is often heard. But since this has been turned into a Warner hotel, so have been unable to go there.
