Libby's Steakhouse

You are here Home  > Miscellaneous >  Libby's Steakhouse

Some say the basement of Libby’s Steakhouse, formerly Hoch Drugstore, was haunted by the ghost of a girl, whose apparition was glimpsed once. Witnesses say bowls will fall over if the basement door is left open, and folks have noticed an uneasy feeling on the basement stairs. Rumor has it that the girl died of a drug overdose.

Allegedly, the owners of Libby’s Steakhouse burned the place down in 2010 in order to collect insurance money and were charged with the crime.

  1. If this place use to be called CarMichaels, then yes… maybe it is haunted. I’ve never heard it said, that way. But if it use to be called CarMichaels, I’ve been in the basement many times…. a lot happen there… and I have some experiences of my own.
