  1. This is so strange. My mother passed away on 27 June 2013 in Moss Vale, New South Wales, Australia and I have had a recurring dream about my mother. She is seated in a very old chair in a very formal room. The house is very old, stately and there are other people around her. The dream was so vivid that I saw the sign of the house. My partner suggested that I search the net for a Jordan House. I found you. I leave this dream thinking that my mother is happy, the grounds are beautiful, well manicured, people are happy. The energy is warm. When i saw a picture of Jordan House I knew it was the house in my dream. …I am hoping to have the dream again to gain more insight. Amazing! 2. It was also one of many underground railroad sites in the nation. And is rumored to have the spirits of slaves wandering the grounds.

  3. When I was a kid in elementary school, we went here for a field trip. Back then they had a hand out that you could take home (which I did and kept for years) that had a photo on the front somebody had taken in front of the inside stairs that had a wispy, shadowy thing at the base of the stairs which looked just like a young girl holding a cat. You could almost see her face. The tour guide also talked about military guys (or something) staying in the basement and using a Ouija board and having it spell out C-A-T. There was something more about why the cat’s ghost was there along with the girl’s.

That must have been around the year 2000… Can’t find much on her now. I think her name was Eva.
