    I grew up in this town. There was never a manager named Dave that committed suicide. I can't say it's not haunted, but not by Dave lol and if it's the Dave I'm thinking of that they're referring to, he's still alive and well :)

      That is not true. There was a manager named Dave Bumphrey in the 80s.

      Yes Dave was actually the first manager there and a close friend of ours. Also, he did die in the hotel but did not shot himself.

    I worked in the hotel....i cleaned the rooms...I was the only one willing to clean his room. I would go in and say "good morning Dave, im just here to clean your room" i felt as though i was being watched as soon as i walked in...cleaning the bathroom was the best part...thats where he shot himself, i could feel it. When i was done i would collect my things and say "have a great day Dave see you next time" they dont like renting out that room. My grandmother in-law was working there when he killed himself...she helped clean it up after. Now that i no longer work there i want to rent that room for myself for a night.

    I had a experience at this hotel I went there for a weekend and i had room 203 when I swiped my key card and the light turned green so I tried to open the door. The handle wouldnt go open so i tried again I swiped my key card the light turned green but the doorhandle was stiff so I tried one more time and the door flew open without me even touching it when i walked into the room it was freezing cold even though the thermostat was on the highest setting for heat it was blowing cold air so I called a lady that worked there and asked to change my room she said no and tried to get me to stay but finally she changed my room to the first floor. My friend was staying at the the second floor where i was before and she said that none else was on in a room on the second floor she never saw anyone so why in the world did they put me in room 203 the only haunted room when all the other rooms were open. when i got home my friend i was staying with googled the place and told me the story about Dave and how he killed himself.
