You are here Home  > Miscellaneous >  Heritage Square

Heritage Square is a shopping center and amusement park that has a haunted legend. The resident spirit is a man who long ago was killed after falling in love with a Native-American girl. Her family didn’t approve of the match, and he was chasing her in his wagon when he was killed. Now, girls have heard the sound of galloping horses and a man crying out to them.

  1. We spent the night here with my son’s boyscout troup and right around 2 am loud music started playing over the P.A system , it was micheal jackson but was done from an old record player. We also heard what sounded like arguing. The police were called and there was no one else around. All the boys and parents were accounted for and there were no signs of anyone anywhere near the PA system.

  2. I went here with my boyfriend & 2 others after it shut down and became abandoned. In order to get into the castle like building, we had to climb through a broken window. We were just inside for a while messing around, but we decided to go explore more. (Keep in mind, I’ve always had experiences with spirits since I was a young child) I was the last one to try and leave through the broken window. As soon as I stepped one foot out of this window, I heard a loud, almost demonic like screech & my heart started pounding. I jumped out of there as fast as I could. The rest of the time we were there, I felt like something was watching me from that same building.
