The Grimes sisters were kidnapped and murdered between December of 1956 and January of 1957. Their bodies were found along this part of the road and the murders were never solved. Photographs have been taken around only to have a young woman appear in the photos.

  1. I was in grammar school when this happened. The 2 sisters just came back from the movie Love Me Tender with Elvis Presley. They went to a local restaurant and they met up with a guy who they left with. They were both found on the side of the highway, frozen, no clothes and this has never be solved. I have never heard that there was any ghost action there, but I would not be surprised if there is.
