Greater Columbus Antiques Mall

This antiques arcade is haunted by many apparitions, which is not hard to believe as the building was previously a funeral home. The first apparition reported in the building is a tall man in a brown suit, who has been seen walking around, and in some cases through the antiques displays. The apparition of a lady in a yellow gown has been reported pacing the upper levels crying, but when approached she vanishes. Another apparition reported in the arcade is the sinister floating spectre of a man in black cloak. His evil presence is so frightening, an employee quit immediately after encountering the spirit. A ghostly grey cat has been reported peeking around corners in the old building, but the origin of its haunting is unknown. Other ghostly phenomena includes disembodied footsteps, knocking and banging sounds, shadowy apparitions, heavy breathing and ghostly voices. On the second floor, the sounds of children playing and laughing are heard. Several upstairs rooms are avoided as an evil entity lingers there, trying to choke or injure staff or visitors. There is an old wooden café bench with other café features around it. In that area, elderly women can be heard talking and the aroma of Italian food can be smelt, despite the fact that the arcade has not food stalls. This phenomena may be in relation to the fact that a restaurant previously stood on the premises of the current building.

  1. My cousin & I visited this location shopping for antiques & when we entered a side room, I believe on the second floor the room was painted bright blue or turquoise. We felt a strong negative energy, so intense we had to leave the room. It was a feeling of fear & panic, I could feel my heartbeat in my ears. We both felt it at the same time, even though she doesnt believe in ghosts or the supernatural she couldnt deny it. We left the building shortly after.
