You are here Home  > Military >  Fort Kent

Fort Kent is said to be the site where, at around the turn of the century, a windigo once possessed a town doctor who was suffering from postwar trauma. Cattle were slaughtered, folks became horribly ill, and the doctor eventually died from the effects of his demon. The site has been featured on Creepy Canada.

  1. I was sitting in my living room
At night and start feeling chills that caused goosebumps as well as the hair on my arms stood up. I began taking pictures around the living room And caught this image on my camera. I was living on an acreage at the time

  2. Sitting in my truck in Elk, point Alberta at my boyfriends work when I felt a piece of my hair move, snapped pictures in the back seat of my truck. I believe that there are images that should not be there if looked at in certain lighting. I was living on an acreage near buckingham trading center

  3. Another photo I had take on my acreage I resides at. Went to bed one night and this bruise showed up on my leg. If you enlarge the picture there are what looks like teeth marks. Lots of mysterious things were happening like thermostat being played with and water bottles sounded like there were being rolled around on the floor .

    • I’m in the Cold Lake area and would live to come to Fort Kent and check out some of the haunted areas. Anything you recommend?

  4. I was living in fort Kent as a kid, when I was about 6 we had a cat that was my little homie. One day he ate my Neighbors cat. Then he ran away, we thought he died till a few months later it came back and killed a few more of the neighbors cats. My grandma still lives there. One of the crepiest places I’ve ever lived.
