  1. it was 1987 i believe or around that time. i was at a Private Party that was held upstairs. from what i was told the 2nd floor was called ” The Indian Lounge” A Hot Spot from the 1940s to the 60s . we Started out Having a few drinks at the Infamous RatSkeller bar before going up stairs to Party. after it ended we went back to the basement bar but after 10 minutes or so i forgot my jacket with my car keys was upstairs. i went upstairs where it was dark but found my coat. as i passed the Old wooden phone booth That was just outside the upper room i noticed a Man using the Phone. Not unusal except he was wearing a hat that looked like it was from the 1930s and the booth was kind of smokey so it was hard to see him. ( Smoking was allowed in 1988) Though the glass he asked me for a nickel but i had no change and he responded with a “Its ok” type nood. when i was going down stairs i found that i had change and turned around to give the man 5cts but he was gone. there is no way anyone could have left that fast. Still creeps me out to this day- Long time Dunellen Resident WC
