  1. I wouldn’t doubt this court house is haunted we stop to look in the window and it just felt creepy I got scared because a door open and I ran back to my car we drove off but later I returned to the courthouse and I found that one of the windows were the door had open was broken so it was the wind that caused it still I wouldn’t doubt this courthouse is granted but all the death and buy all of the criminals who have been tried and sentenced here I love to go and see it someday from the inside but I’m scared that something will follow me home

  2. I have been around this building since it was built. I frequented it often while growing up and working for my father who had frequent trips to the Health Dept located on the second floor. It is now 2018 and I am reading that the building is haunted which really surprises me. I know many died there but don’t remember any really horrific situations happening there. Mrs G

  3. Is there a way to spend the night here? I heard of one of the old courthouses out side El Paso will apparently let you stay there, because “no one can get through the entire night.” Well, I will, for sure. So, is there a way to stay the night here?

  4. The courthouse is now being used for tours and ghost hunts. It was open this past Saturday for a quick tour during the local “Zombie Walk.” My husband and I enjoyed the tour and I took numerous pictures, capturing an orb and streaks in an old cell. But, after the tour, we went to the beer garden are they had set up in the courtyard of the building. There were tables and some heavy, metal lawn chairs. I my chair to get closer to my husband and all of a sudden it’s like this force slammed my chair in to his, smashing one of my fingers between the two chairs. I had a hard time getting the chair to move to release my finger. It was the craziest thing I have ever experienced! I do plan to return for one of the ghost tours and will update later with any other experiences I may have.

  5. I worked in this building for several years and there is not doubt it is haunted! I worked in the jail facility on 4th floor as well as spent a lot of time in jail annex area. And yes, I have been there into the early hours of the morning. Not quite overnight..
