Depot Antique Mall

You are here Home  > Miscellaneous >  Depot Antique Mall

Back in the 1940s this was the site of a terrible plane crash. It is said that the nearby funeral home ran out of room to store the bodies, so some corpses had to be stored in the refrigerator at the grocery store, which is now the Depot Antique Mall. Folks say that one of these bodies belonged to a World War II soldier, whose ghost can still be seen walking around the store. Eyewitnesses to the spirit say he is a bit skittish: If you get too close, he will simply vanish.

  1. I can verify this location. Many years ago when the antique store was still open I went there with my now ex-wife. We kept getting weird feelings in the back corner of the building. Then when I went upstairs I was startled to see a semi-transparent figure in what appeared to be an army uniform from WW2 standing near a display case. The figure vanished shortly afterwards. The display case held military medals and ribbons.
