Patrons and employees of the Cowboy Bar have reportedly heard footsteps, and even steak orders, from invisible sources, and have witnessed bottles flying off the bar shelves. Some say full glasses will fall from the bar without spilling a single drop. Old tales tell that several murders have been committed in the establishment (as may be guessed by the bullet holes in the walls), and there once may even have been a wake in which the corpse was laid atop the bar.

I worked here for a while and there was not one person who worked here that didn’t have some sort of experience or feeling. There is a noose that hangs in the bar that will occasionally swing back and forth by itself, one co worker claimed to see Japanese men sitting in one booth in the early mornings. The owner claimed one night she heard conversation coming from the kitchen but when she checked there was nobody there. Customers heard it too. She also experienced a bottle flying off the wall one night as well. Lots of activity. There was an urn of ashes in the building as well.
