    1. I went to the Colonial Inn February 2021 on Valentines Day with my girlfriend. As we were eating our meal I had an odd feeling. My face turned bright red , I began to tremble, and felt like I had a fever….I told my girl friend we have to leave now… I don’t feel well. As soon as we were outside the Inn I was fine. I don’t know what caused that to happen but will not go back there again.

    2. I bought tickets for myself and my husband for an event hosted there called “Dining With The Dead.” It was basically a buffet dinner followed by a ghost hunt. Husband is a skeptic but found it very interesting and confirmed various cold spots in the dining room when there was no air conditioning or vents that could have been responsible. (He runs warm, too). In the “Thoreau” sitting room, the hosts had a voice box operating and all of the guests were taking turns asking the spirit questions. I took my chance when it presented and said “Hello! It’s nice to meet you. My name is Jamie. Can you say Jamie?” A few moments later, the voice box said my name. When my chance to speak again presented itself, I asked the spirit “Which is your favorite chair?” (as the room had several very old chairs in it)…A few moment’s later, the voice box said “Purple.” The thing is, there was no purple in the room at all. It wasn’t until we went home for the night that I realized what the spirit meant….”He” misheard my question: The only thing that was purple in that room was my hair. He had been flirting with me. Henry is adorable! Additionally, I don’t recall which room it was in….but I saw two orbs with my naked eyes, and that has never happened before.
