Club Chameleon

This night club is now reported to be closed. According to local legend, the building housed a church in the late 1800s. The minister there caught his wife and the deacon having an affair. After finding them together at the church, in a fit of rage he boarded the doors and windows, imprisoning the two inside, and lit the church on fire. Sadly, 14 children also died in the fire. The smell of smoke has been detected by some folks here, as well as that of burning flesh. Some say if you tap on the windows, the imprisoned children’s spirits will tap back.

    1. I visited this place on a ghost tour back in 2004. My friends and I all felt an eerie heat standing next to the building as if it was burning. What was crazy was as the tour guide started explaining the building did in fact burn down (several times) the sensation stopped. It was crazy!
