This century-old building was purchased in 2012 and is slated to be renovated into condominiums. It was once a fashionable hotel, but fell into disrepair and was known as a hang-out for the homeless for several decades. There are rumors about a “ghost bride” that some believe to haunt the premises.

  1. A few months ago, I lived in the newly renovated building. There doors slamming on the first and second floor. The lights on the second floor flickered occasionally and my neighbor said he saw one of the vacant apartment doors cracked open and when he seen it was cracked, it shut by itself. The basement door would slam shut, and then I brought my gf and her sister over because they’ve never been inside of the building and as I was walking them up the back hallway entrance to the elevator, I told them “this place is haunted by the way” and the door behind them was propped open and guess what! It shut behind them! And I said “told you!” It’s a very interesting building.
