Built in 1884 as a schoolhouse, the pagan Church of the Eternal Light is rumored to be haunted by a ghostly face that appears in the bell tower windows. Witnesses also have reported spirit orbs here. Who is the ghost? It’s not certain. One legend says a parishioner was once struck by lightning on the church front steps, and it is he who haunts the place.

I’ve been there before. I now that place is haunted. Lost spirits that wander the property. I was there and felt eyes watching me from the woods. Many people deny it or are just oblivious to it!
There are no negative spirits in the building. I was a member of CEL for 13 years. The gentleman does have a name (which I will keep private), As for him being struck by lightening, this cannot be confirmed.
I have been here on a few occasions. I have went once in the summer and once in the fall of 2016. The first experience was really scary. On a Sunday night at about 8 or 9 P.M My friend and I were driving to the church and once we got there we parked on the rocks in front. When We first pulled up , there was this unique pole and rock symbol on the front lawn. As we both were taking pictures we heard this morbid scream that sounded more like a demonic scream. My friend who was on the passenger seat said that he felt that the scream was right next to him. We swerved out of there so fast. But the second time was different. I went with my ex girlfriend and we actually went inside of it. There were people from the church showing us around and it had a creepy feel to it. But the people there are actually a few of the nicest people I’ve ever met. What I’m trying to say is when there’s no one around, crazy shit happens here at the Church of Eternal Light.
