  1. me and my friend went here to see if this place is really haunted and when we went inside and we heard nothing until like later we stayed in there we heard a cry we could not tell if it was a boy or a girl but the cry lasted for 4 minutes we where scared to check it out but that is all i heard nothing else happened

  2. It’s great that we’re listed as a haunted place, and I love that the ghost stories about the facility get bigger each year. That being said, it’s not the best place for a hunt. I’ve probably spent more time alone and in the dark in that building than anyone else in the past few years, and if it’s got secrets it doesn’t tell them.

That being said, once I was cleaning up after a show and the entire lobby suddenly, inexplicably filled with a loud, low hum/moan sound. It sounded like a robot imitating a human in pain. I couldn’t pinpoint it. I couldn’t get closer to it or farther away from it in a room the size of half a football field. It just continued for a couple minutes and suddenly disappeared. It’s the closest thing to something supernatural I’ve experienced, but I’ve always blamed it on the AC. The whole place makes some strange sounds, but overall it’s the high ceilings and total darkness in spots that make it creepy. Not the ghosts. They mostly get blamed for equipment failures and missing items.

In response to alexis and others, this building is owned by the City and is not open to the public. Trespassers can and will be prosecuted. Any expeditions should be arranged through our office and will be allowed only at the discretion of building owners. – CEPA Management / pellcitycepa.com
